"Klutz" should be my middle name.
It is a funny thing when you get injured. You have all the time in the world to reflect on life… and you also remember that you haven’t blogged in almost a year…
It all happened on April 12th- I entered work and clocked in. Then a certain thing called a rug decided to step on me and not let go of my foot the whole 5 foot and 6 inch descent to the floor. Only part damaged was my...

Who are you and how long have you been with UO?
Hello! My name is Adina Meisel. I am from Forest Hills, NY born and raised in a bicultural home (Israeli and American). I have a Psychology and Business degrees from Queens College and a FMM degree from FIT. I’ve been with Urban since November 2009 where I started as a part-time sales associate. I am now the Overnight WACC Merch Girl.
What I want to do at Urban Outfitters
I would like to be at Urban Outfitters long term. I recently switched to overnights for the WACC team to train for merchandising. Our stores local customer...

Jokes aside though, we were given an employee handbook our first week at UO and within the first few pages of the book it describes our general customer as a whole. I think the most important to pinpoint are these:
Original Smart Surprising Courageous Brash Risk taking Confident...
How to make someone a repeat customer...
Step 1: Say hello to said desired repeat customer *make eye contact*.
Step 2: Compliment customer on their keen sense of style and their commitment to looking awesome all the time.
Step 3: If they are foreign and you know their language, talk to them in said language. It makes them feel more welcome.
Step 4: ALWAYS BE SINCERE when greeting, offering help, or even just smiling while carrying...

Fashionable Fall-ies
Alas dear friends, fashion week has come to a close but not without some great stories. Yes, we all love to hear about the shows and what people wore. But, I think the most fun is what happens before the shows, behind the scenes, and at the after parties.
I must say that calling the last two weeks of my life hectic would be an understatement. However, this chaotic time is what most of us wait for...
